Consumer scoreboards

9.6.2015

The Consumer Agency takes part in the annual exercise on the Consumer Scoreboard which the EU Commission makes public twice a year. The Consumer Scoreboards show how the single market is performing for EU consumers and warn of potential problems. They are a tool for evidence-based consumer policy, and allow European and national policymakers and stakeholders to estimate the impact of their policies on consumer welfare and to benchmark performance over time.

The Consumer Rights division contributes to this exercise with information in addition with the Safety division.
